  • Initial Assessment

This initial stage of the process involves working with an Adviser to review the Candidate’s work role and experience and determine suitability

  • Matching Current or Recent Personal Performance against the Standard

To achieve this Level 4 Certificate learners must achieve a minimum of 17 credits from the three mandatory units

  • Mandatory Units:
  • Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment

Assess the knowledge and understanding required for the internal quality assurance of assessment

  • Internally Assure the Quality of Assessment

To assess performance for the internal quality assurance of assessmen

  • Plan, Allocate and Monitor Work in Own Area of Responsibility

Helps to plan, allocate and monitor work in own area of responsibility and make any necessary changes to original work plans

  • Identifying Evidence to Support Claims for Competence

With the assistance of the Adviser the Candidate identifies evidence from their own workplace that can be used to meet the requirements of the quality assurance criteria.

  • Assessment against the Standards

Assessment of Candidates against the standards will be undertaken and may be audio reported for the purposes of verification.

  • Internal Verification, External Verification, Achievement of Qualification

Approach

Adviser and Assessor visits will be by prior arrangement and made so as to minimise any disruption in the workplace.  The Candidate’s Line Manager will be included in the process through a Management Development Agreement.
