Ambassador for Apprenticeships
Scott Peplow has been earning a number of plaudits from his trainer and his employer recently, after a very impressive twelve months of development towards achieving his apprenticeship.
The 19-year-old has excelled in all aspects of his work, from learning new skills at our Technical Academy in Aldridge to delivering tangible benefits when on the shop floor at Valen Fittings.
Lee Calver, Tutor at In-Comm Training, commented: “Scott’s quality of work has been outstanding. He’s very self-motivated, shows maturity beyond his years and has a huge desire to succeed.
“He’s an excellent ambassador for what apprenticeships can do for young people – giving them the skills and the experience to be a valuable member of staff the minute they start working with their employers.”
All our tutors provide learners with support and guidance throughout their time at In-Comm, both in training and at their place of work.
Scott concluded: “The facilities and tutors are first class. We either get support or freedom to make our own decisions based on what we need and, any questions we have, we know Lee or another tutor have the answers.”
