A programme open to 16-24 year olds to achieve a Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering - Typical time for completion 2-4 years. The programme will assess the Candidate's competence against Modern Apprenticeship - Engineering standards to achieve a Modern Apprenticeship and progress towards an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship.

The advice and assessment process will be delivered at the Candidates place of work. Advisor and Assessor visits will be by prior arrangement and made so as to minimise any disruption in the work place. The Candidates Line Manager will be included in the process through a Management Development Agreement.

• Initial Assessment
• To achieve an engineering related NVQ:
  • Level 2 for Apprenticeships
  • Level 3 for Advanced Apprenticeships

  • • To achieve Technical Certificate (Applied Engineering Principles) Level 2
    • To achieve Employment Rights and Responsibilities Qualification
    • As an addition you will undertake courses in the following:
  • Health & Safety CIEH Basic Certificate
  • Abrasive Wheels
