The advice and assessment process will be delivered at the Candidates place of work. Advisor and Assessor visits will be by prior arrangement and made so as to minimise any disruption in the work place. The Candidates Line Manager will be included in the process through a Management Development Agreement

• Initial Assessment: This initial stage of the process involves working with an Advisor to review the Candidates work role and experience, after which the appropriate level of qualification can be determined
• To achieve a full certificate in Advice & Guidance the candidate will be required to complete 3 mandatory units:
• Unit 2: Support clients to make use of the Advice & Guidance service
• Unit 3: Interact with clients using a range of media
• Unit 38: Develop personal performance through delivering customer service
• and 3 optional units:-
• Unit 13: Enable advice and guidance clients to access referral opportunities
• Unit 21: Provide and maintain information materials to use in the service
• Unit 37: Support customer service improvements
• Unit 10: Promote additional services or products to customers
• Unit 202: Contribute to the identification of the risk of danger to individuals and others
• Unit 203: Contribute to the effectiveness of teams
• Unit 204: Receive and pass on messages and information
• Internal Verification
• External Verification,
• Achievement of Qualification
• Programme Review and Evaluation
